LYNN CHASE WILDLIFE FOUNDATION
HOLDS AMBOSELI BASH
On May 3, the Lynn Chase Wildlife Foundation sponsored a fun, informative
and very successful evening at the River Club as a fundraiser for the Amboseli
Trust for Elephants (ATE). More than
150 guests attended the event—hearing the latest updates from Amboseli and
bidding on a variety of exotic silent auction items.
The highlight of the evening was an auction to name four Amboseli calves. Don
Young, o f Don Young Safaris, presided as the auctioneer, while Lynn Chase and
Louise Davis helped encourage the bidding. As
a result of their efforts, the evening raised more than $45,000, challenging the
all-time record for a two-hour Amboseli event!
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Lynn Chase for her exemplary
efforts in inspiring others to care about elephant conservation.
Warm thanks also go to Dick Flintoft; Louise and David Davis; Hifza
Nosheen, Executive Director of the Lynn Chase Wildlife Foundation; and our many
supporters in
New York
