Cynthia Moss has joined the BEADS Board of Directors.

BEADS – Beads for Education, Advancement, Development and Success – steers the talents of young Maasai women towards productive and fulfilling enterprise.

BEADS mission is to enhance the status of women in the community and to promote environmental awareness with a goal of preserving natural resources. BEADS programs provide school scholarships for African girls, promote business development for African women and support conservation through education.

BEADS sponsors Maasai girls' education from 4th grade through university, stressing grassroots environmental awareness that is critical to the long-term conservation of elephants and the ecosystem.
