 | THANKS TO YOU...the new Land Rover is here!
We are sending a special "thank you" to everyone who helped us
purchase this new Land Rover for our work in Amboseli. We're very grateful
to Land Rover, Nairobi, CMC, for all their help and for their very generous
discount. We also thank Land Rover UK, who generously paid for all the
vehicle's additional equipment, such as the roof rack, special guards on the
front and back, air intake, and much more.
We send our heartfelt thanks to the Detroit Zoological Society; the Born
Free Foundation; and the International Fund for Animal Welfare, for their
timely support of this effort. Most of all, we thank all our individual
members and supporters, whose contributions made this purchase possible. We
will think of every one of you each day we use the vehicle...and we hope you
will visit Amboseli soon and see it in action! Once again, many thanks to
you all for helping us help the elephants!
