DR. BETH ARCHIE

Beth is the Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Notre Dame. She’s a behavioural ecologist who studies the evolution of animal social relationships. She is especially interested in the genetic and disease-related causes and consequences of social behavior. She started working in Amboseli in 1999 and is currently studying the social lives of elephants and baboons living in the Amboseli ecosystem.
