NORAH NJIRIANI
Assistant Director, Field Research and Training

Norah was the very first research assistant recruited to the study, when she joined to help Joyce Poole study the Amboseli males. Having grown up in Loitokitok, she visited Amboseli from a very young age and well remembers the early days of tourism in the Park. Her knowledge of our Amboseli bulls is now both encyclopaedic and legendary, and invaluable for those males who range far and wide, visiting the park at three or five year intervals. Norah is also a fantastic teacher, and over the years has developed our training program which she runs for observers of all experience and abilities.
