Tal was raised in Kenya’s coastal town of Mombasa and all her education was carried out locally. She has a deep connection to Kenya’s natural places and is extremely passionate about conservation, having studied Environmental Management and Zoology at University, completed GIS (Geographical Information Systems) training, as well as gained a lot of experience in working with international media over the years. She worked with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for ten years before joining our team in 2013. Tal’s expertise are a combination of skills which are difficult to get in one person. She has skills in mapping, database management, communications, media, donor relations, and in training & mentorship, making her an invaluable member of our small team.
